Tyler Layne
Tyler Layne, multi-talented singer, actor and songwriter is the name that seems to have music industry
leaders excited and will soon have teens across the U.S. familiar with his sound. This Nashville
recording artist has burst onto the pop music scene and is acquiring an impressive loyal fan base. His
positively charged, family friendly, party like performances have led him to perform in front of thousands
and to open for national recording artists. Tyler’s magnetic personality, and passion for performing draw
in a crowd and leave them wanting more.
The Virginia native has been immersed in music ever since he can remember. He recalls his first solo at<
age 5 and by the time he was 7 years old he was entertaining crowds at festivals and community events. His
stage presence and natural musical ability won him lead and principal roles in main stage theater
productions. He was also cast in a series on the Discovery Channel, commercials, and print campaigns.
Tyler began professional training in piano, voice, and acting at 8 years old. When he was 10 years old he
impressed the AM 1650 Radio Disney judges and became one of the youngest members of the Pop Group
RD7. His experience touring regionally with Radio Disney fueled the fire inside him to record original
music and perform outside of Virginia.
Tyler was a founding member of the groups Seven5Seven and Brooke and Tyler. Brooke and Tyler
have a myspace presence that is expanding rapidly, creating a buzz and receiving attention from industry
professionals. Together Tyler and Brooke have developed a performance resume that most seasoned artists
would envy.
Tyler is set on success and success is what he has seen so far. With 11 studio recorded songs, and working
with the most prestigious songwriters and producers, this rising teen star seems to be the perfect catch for
the media. What sets him apart from other teen artists is his ability to captivate an audience, his unwavering
commitment to his craft and his clear understanding of the work ethic involved to be successful in the
business. Tyler will continue his training at Governor’s School for the Arts in the Fall. Very soon, Tyler’s
lyrics will have boys and girls across the nation singing along.
