Center of Detention BIO (for YAF – NOV 2010 Featured Artists of the Month)
Center of Detention is a Teen Rock Band. they have been together since Dec 2007. They met through a mutual friend of both families.We knew they were meant to be together right from the start. The band consists of brothers Haydn Marler who plays bass and vocalist .age 14. Tristan Marler who plays drums and sings lead vocals he is age 12.Quintin Golonka the guitarist of the group is the youngest one yet he is the tallest at age 12. Center of Detention has written over six songs and have learned over forty covers.They have been on TV,Radio,Commercials,they have been interviewed in 4 different newspapers. They played at SPAC,Webster Hall,Cafe Lena and over 35 different locations.They've played at High School Proms and Dances and played a lot of benefits for all kinds of charity.They hope to continue to move forward in their music education and hope that someday they will be playing with their favorite groups on the big stage.
