Calvin Prior BIO (for YAF – Sept 2011 Featured Artists of the Month)
My name is Calvin Prior, I am a 16 year old Singer/Guitarist
I started playing guitar 11 years old, I felt an instant connection
and play around 8 hours a day, it feels like a part of my DNA. Without
my guitar it would be like losing a limb.
My main influences are George Benson, Slash, Wilko Johnson, Gary Moore.
I do have a love for blues, but my playing is more hard rock.
I am in a band called Calvin Prior & The Riderbacks...The Riderbacks are
my bodyguards and fellow musicians, they look after me:) We have 30 original rock songs
and will be recording very,very shortly along with a music Vid by end of september.
